The 8 Best Restaurants In Bristol

By Neharika Padala

The Bath PrioryFamous for its music and culture, Bristol’s dining scene has also been making waves in recent years and its progress has not gone unnoticed by critics.

Our guide to the best restaurants in Bristol includes Michelin starred-restaurant Casamia, owned by brothers Jonray and Peter Sanchez-Iglesias, who only serve one menu at any given time.

After researching how Japanese restaurants are influenced by seasonal change in their dishes and décor, the brothers also decided to adopt the approach. Not only do the menu and interior reflect the seasons, in the last few years the brothers have decided to incorporate all the senses – taste, sight, hearing, smell and touch – and in doing so have created a restaurant that offers a truly unique experience.

Other highlights of Bristol’s dining scene include The Bath Priory. Although located a short distance from Bristol, this Michelin-starred restaurant is well worth this visit. Head Chef Sam Moody has created a reputation for delivering strong flavors and exciting cuisine. He places a strong emphasis on fresh and locally sourced ingredients, with salad leaves being grown by local suppliers to his exact precise requirements.
