Rivea London, located within the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge, have just launched their new Sunday feasting menu that will be running from now until 16 April, 2017.
The set menu, inspired by world renowned chef, Alain Ducasse is a tribute to his time spent in the vibrant food markets of Italy and Provence, offering a delicate fusion of French-Italian fare with the most wonderful flavors of the Mediterranean.
Amid a retro, chic setting diners can relax and indulge in sharing dishes, similarly to a typical family feast. Simple creations and fresh ingredients is Executive Chef, Alexandre Nicolas’ secret to great cuisine. He has spent more than 10 years under the guidance of Alain Ducasse who both share an undeniable passion for ‘Las Cuisine du Soleil’ – the cuisine of the sun.
The menu offers an array of colorful dishes with vegetables taking center stage, particularly for the starters, guaranteeing palates a variety of textures and flavors.
Alexandre puts a bespoke twist on this beautiful cuisine by incorporating his own personal trademark of fresh condiments, bursting with pure, unique flavors which he seeks through visiting local markets.
The carefully selected dishes showcase the best seasonal ingredients with a divine selection of choices such as, octopus and confit potato salad and stone bass carpaccio for starters and sharing plates such as, côte de boeuf with potato fries, choron and basil sauce, and roasted corn-fed whole chicken with lemon and thyme, sautéed with camargue rice as a main course.
To finish, pastry chef, Xavier Mertz creates a daily display of delicious patisserie treats that can be enjoyed with a selection of herbal teas and fresh coffee.
More importantly, the set course can be enjoyed all in under one hour, giving you time to enjoy the rest of your Sunday in the elegant terraces and iconic shops of Knightsbridge.
