Owing to an exclusive partnership with Italian supercar-maker Automobili Lamborghini, the luxury hotel brand Waldorf Astoria is offering guests a range of extraordinary Lamborghini driving experiences. And now, the collaboration’s 2017 driving experience dates and locations have been revealed, enabling travelers to reserve their spot ahead of time.
Not only will guests have the opportunity to test drive these supercars, they’ll also be among the first to sit behind the wheel of Lamborghini’s latest models, including the recently released Huracán RWD Spyder and new Aventador S.Coupé.
Each Waldorf Astoria Driving Experience is scheduled to take place during what are already greatly anticipated events in each luxury hotel’s destination, beginning with the BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells tennis tournament on the 17th to 19th March, elevating the experience guests have while staying at La Quinta Resort in California.
From La Quinta Resort, the Waldorf Astoria Driving Experiences move onto Chicago, with dates set for the 12th to 14th May to coincide with the World of Lamborghini program. And this is followed by the driving experiences hosted by Trianon Palace Versailles, which will run from 14th to 16th July for Bastille Day, and Rome Cavalieri from the 28th to 30th July.
On 25th to 27th August, Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh is set to host the driving experiences as Edinburgh Fringe Festival unfolds throughout the Scottish city, and then from the 3rd to 5th November, the event will be on offer at Boca Raton Resort & Club in Florida for the celebrated Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Finally, November 16th to 18th will see the arrival of the Lamborghini experience at Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah when the Dubai International Motor Show is underway.
During each event, Waldorf Astoria guests are offered complimentary 30-minute driving sessions, under the expert guidance of Lamborghini’s professional driving instructors. Customized driving routes allow those taking part to accelerate down scenic stretches of road, passing some of each destination’s iconic sites along the way.
Back at the hotel, guests are afforded a virtual driving experience, too, enabling them to navigate the driving routes of other Waldorf Astoria destinations through Gear VR Oculus goggles and with 3D video simulation.
