Inspired by the luxury-class saloons of the renowned Mercedes-Benz brand, the EC145 Mercedes-Benz Style helicopter brings the exquisite style and superior function of some of the finest European cars to the aviation industry.

The EC145 resonates the premium standard of Mercedes-Benz Style perfectly, making it the pre-eminent elite product in the category of medium-sized, twin-engine helicopters. The aircraft is tailor-made for luxury-class private and corporate travel. Wood paneling and deluxe materials set a luxurious scene in the interior, while owners can also choose exclusive furnishings according to personal preference and requirements. The interior of the EC145 helicopter represents the classic Mercedes-Benz design and exudes elegance, quality and comfort, familiar from the car models.

The EC145 is leading in the medium-sized, twin-engine helicopter category, incorporating Airbus Helicopters’ advanced cockpit design, avionics and a sophisticated electrical system. With leading design for cutting-edge technology, the EC145 is the quietest helicopter in its division, at 6.7 decibels below ICAO sound level specifications. It has a proven hingeless rotor system with enhanced rotor blades, which ensure low sound and vibration levels.

Compared to other rotorcrafts in its range, the EC145 offers a significantly larger cabin that features excellent outside visibility for pilots, crew and passengers. Thanks to the intelligent design, the passenger cabin is incredibly versatile, as seats are fixed to rails and can be rearranged in different ways for four to eight people – or taken out completely. The helicopter can seat up to 12 pilots and passengers.

Customizable multi-function equipment boxes put the pilot in full control. The helicopter’s integrated glass cockpit includes Airbus Helicopters’ Vehicle and Engine Multifunction Display (VEMD®) and a caution and advisory display (CAD) to enhance pilot efficiency – therefore reducing pilot fatigue and enhancing flight safety, while the cockpit design provides supreme views in all directions.

The EC145 is equipped with two Turbomeca Arriel 1E2, designed to deliver outstanding performance and vital power reserves. The helicopter offers built-in safety aspects such as energy-absorbing fuselage and seats, along with crash-resistant fuel cells.

Recent models designed by Mercedes-Benz Style have taken inspiration from the EC145. The H145 Mercedes-Benz Style has received five orders since its launch in October 2015. The H145 offers a redesigned cabin interior (similar to the EC145 design) that includes in-flight wi-fi connectivity, an improved infotainment system and a new ergonomic seat design for increased comfort.
