Nick Edgar has been recruited as Head Chef at The Samling’s Michelin Star restaurant.
Edgar started at Raymond Blanc’s famous hotel and restaurant in 2000, rising his way up through the ranks before becoming Head Chef in 2013.
He has been Head Chef at one of Europe’s most famous restaurants however Edgar believes that The Samling offers him a superb opportunity.
He said: “I am so excited about my new position as Head Chef at The Samling hotel. I can’t wait to start the next chapter of my career at this wonderful hotel. The ambition The Samling has is what attracted me to the position; their aim to be on the highest level of gastronomic experiences and become a food destination for the whole of the U.K would excite any young ambitious chef.”
General Manager at The Samling Alasdair Elwick added: “I am delighted to have recruited one of the UK’s best chefs. Nick brings a wealth of experience and ability to the role. When you combine this appointment with the talent of the current team, exciting times lie ahead for the hotel.”
