Having attracted a long line of VIPs, from Hollywood stars to dignitaries, The Nai Harn is among Thailand’s most iconic hotels. Situated on the edge of Nai Harn beach in southern Phuket, the luxury resort overlooks the peaceful golden shores of this crescent bay. Naturally, the hotel’s plush interiors and dining venues make the most of these blissful views.  And it’s here that guests can tuck into the contemporary southern Thai cuisine that The Nai Harn is celebrated for. In March, the hotel will be taking this culinary prestige a step further with the guest appearance of renowned Michelin starred chef, Will Holland.

The Nai Harn

Having been awarded a Michelin star before the age of 30, named among the Top 10 Most Influential Chefs by the Good Food Guide, and the UK Restaurant Chef of the Year by the Craft Guild of Chefs, with numerous TV appearances under his belt, Will Holland has a wealth of culinary knowledge to share. By taking fresh local ingredients, Holland will harness these skills, creating a series of exclusive dishes to be served up at the hotel’s gourmet restaurant, Rock Salt.

Guests at this time can expect to dine on torched wahoo mackerel with salt baked beetroot and wasabi yogurt, and chargrilled prawns with black pepper and vanilla butter. But the final night of this culinary journey is set to be the pinnacle, as the chef hosts his six-course Coast to Coast degustation menu at Cosmo restaurant Only for a limited number of guests, this one-night event will bring plates of scallop carpaccio with compressed cucumber, wasabi and watercress, quail with wild mushrooms, pink grapefruit confit, and truffle dressing, and king crab with carrot, orange and vanilla puree, fennel salad and basil mayo, together with a selection of exclusive wines.

Phuket

And on the night preceding the lavish meal, The Nai Harn’s rooftop bar, Reflections, will be celebrating chef Holland’s time here with a cocktail reception of rum cocktails paired with canapés such as scotch quail’s eggs and Parmesan polenta. Promising exceptional food and drink, as well as company, throughout the guests appearance, along with the chance to soak up The Nai Harn’s coastal views, this gastronomic experience is certainly an occasion worth traveling for.

This culinary journey at The Nai Harn will take place from 12th to 17th March 2017.
