MARCH 4 – 13, 2016
After a successful first year as part of Miami International Film Festival’s 30th edition in 2013, Lee Brian Schrager’s Culinary Cinema (LBSCC) program returned for a second great year during the festival’s 31st edition (March 7 – 16, 2014).
Dedicated to Miami’s exceptional status as an internationally recognized multicultural, culinary and cinematic melting pot, the program was held at iconic venues and combined deliciously stimulating films with innovative cuisine by some of the world’s most notable filmmakers and chefs.
The program kicked off during the South Beach Wine & Food Festival with a screening of Soul of a Banquet. This is a deeply personal story of Chef Cecilia Chiang, by Hong Kong-born, San Francisco-based filmmaker Wayne Wang. It continued through the festival dates March 7 – 16, 2014.
